Job summary

Heart Rhythm Society seeks a Publications Associate to support manuscript review, light editing, proofreading, and author communications, ensuring quality and speed of publication. Under AVP HRS Publications, you will manage editorial workflow, assist with online content, coordinate with editors, authors, and reviewers, and support editorial meetings.

Bachelor's degree preferred; 3–5 years in peer‑reviewed journals; Editorial Manager experience a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience with peer‑reviewed scientific journals.
• Experience with Editorial Manager or similar workflow systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the editorial workflow of manuscript submissions and correspondence.
• Support online content management of journal pages and related social content.
• Assist with editorial meetings and editorial board meetings; handle other duties as assigned.
• Ensure signed conflict of interest forms are received for submissions.
