Piper Companies is seeking a Jira Administrator for a leading technology organization supporting mission-critical operations. This is a long-term contract opportunity with potential to convert to permanent and allows remote work within the United States.

You will lead Jira migrations, configure workflows, and optimize dashboards while collaborating with stakeholders and ensuring data integrity. The role requires strong Atlassian experience and AWS/cloud integrations, with opportunities to impact

Qualifications

5+ years of experience administering and configuring Jira in enterprise environments.
Extensive experience with the Atlassian Suite, including Jira administration and platform customization.
Proven ability to act as a Jira SME, providing technical guidance across teams.
Strong experience with Confluence for documentation and collaboration.
Hands-on experience with AWS and cloud-based integrations.
Experience supporting Jira migrations and post-deployment optimization.

Responsibilities

Lead the migration of Jira environments, maintaining data integrity and system functionality.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver Jira solutions.
Implement, configure, and optimize Jira workflows, permissions, dashboards, and automation.
Serve as Jira SME, providing advanced troubleshooting and best practices.
Support integrations between Jira, Confluence, and cloud-based platforms.
Drive adoption of Jira solutions through documentation and process improvements.
