Trilogy Federal is seeking a remote Java Software Engineer to support a federal client. You will build, maintain, and optimize Java applications, interface with databases via SQL, and deliver robust backend solutions in an Agile environment.

The role requires 8+ years of experience, strong Java, JavaScript, and SQL skills, and the ability to work independently within a team. A Public Trust clearance is preferred or required to start.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of overall professional experience and a bachelor’s degree.
• 6+ years of experience with JAVA and JAVA Script.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL.
• Demonstrated understanding of modern Java, Angular, JavaScript, SQL coding practices.
• Ability to work independently as well as within a dynamic team environment on development tasks and continuously deliver quality code for team review and product owner demonstration.
• Self-starter able to work independently and within a team.

Responsabilités

• Create applications using JAVA.
• Work with our customer’s technical team to identify initial requirements.
• Apply general best practices for software development and the Agile team lifecycle.
• Use SQL and using database tools to design and support the back end of a web application.
• Code and organize the application using best practices while helping to share knowledge with the team and grow the team’s skills and understanding of a robust application.
