Butler America Aerospace, LLC. is seeking a Java Developer - WebMethod Engineer to support CCS modernization by upgrading Java components from 8 to 11+, refactoring code, and ensuring integration with upgraded Documentum and WebMethods components.

You will partner with Kiro to accelerate analysis, refactoring, and modernization, and you will collaborate with WebMethods developers to ensure seamless end-to-end communication.

Formación

• 5+ years Java development experience.
• Experience with Java 11 migration and changes.
• Strong REST/Spring Boot and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with JMS, SOAP/REST integrations, or middleware systems.
• Experience reviewing AI-generated development outputs.
• Proficiency with Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle.

Responsabilidades

• Upgrade CCS Java services from Java 8 to Java 11+.
• Refactor code impacted by deprecated APIs and library updates.
• Redesign and validate Java integrations with the new Documentum environment.
• Collaborate with WebMethods developers for end-to-end communication.
• Use Kiro to accelerate analysis, automated refactoring, and test generation.
• Review and validate AI-generated refactorings and recommendations.
• Participate in code reviews, CI/CD improvements, and automated testing.
