Job summary

CTG is seeking a Software Engineer-Enterprise Modernization to design, develop, and modernize large-scale enterprise applications from Piscataway, NJ.

You will leverage Java, Spring Boot, and C/C++ to build microservices and integrate OSS with other applications and network elements.

The contract W2 role demands 10–12+ years of experience, expertise in messaging platforms and databases, plus experience migrating legacy systems to Java, Linux, and modern service architectures.

Qualifications

• 10–12+ years of experience developing and modernizing Enterprise applications.
• Strong Java/Spring Boot and C/C++ expertise, with experience integrating Enterprise applications with messaging platforms, databases, and modern cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and modernize Enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, C/C++, and microservices.
• Develop and maintain interfaces between OSS and other applications/network elements.
• Analyze and modernize legacy C/C++ applications, transitioning functionality toward Java, Linux, and modern service architectures.
• Develop high-throughput integrations using IBM MQ, Tuxedo, Kafka, RabbitMQ, REST APIs, and other messaging technologies.
• Support migration from legacy communication technologies.
