Job summary

Revolutional is seeking an Associate Application Programmer / Java Developer to support a federal government client in a dynamic, agile environment. You will develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and modern web technologies within a CI/CD setup.

Responsibilities include analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and documentation, with training provided for Palantir as needed and a focus on secure, scalable solutions for DHS modernization.

Qualifications

• US citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 1 year of experience in application development and/or Java development.
• Strong proficiency in Java (Java 8+), Spring Boot, and RESTful web services.
• Experience with MVC architecture and JDBC.

Responsibilities

• Participate in agile methodologies and contribute within a CI environment.
• Develop, test, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot and RESTful services.
• Implement and remediate SonarQube findings and develop unit tests.
• Develop technical documentation and user support materials.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes using Jenkins/CloudBees and Git.
• Work with Oracle, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB databases.
• Assist with Help Desk troubleshooting and end-user issues.
