Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Principal Java Developer for 100% remote work in the United States. The role requires 12+ years of experience, full-time direct W2 employment, and a salary range of $120,000 to $170,000 per year.

You will architect and build enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems, leveraging Java, Spring Boot, and modern frontend stacks. Collaboration across product, architecture, and DevOps teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms and system design.
• Advanced Java (11/17), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with microservices, inter-service communication, and observability.
• Front-end experience with React; Angular/Vue is a plus.
• SQL skills with PostgreSQL/MySQL/Oracle/SQL Server and tuning.
• CI/CD and Git workflows; release management.
• Cloud deployment experience on AWS/Azure/GCP and cloud services.
• Strong debugging and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Architect, design, and develop enterprise web applications and distributed systems.
• Own end-to-end engineering lifecycle from requirements to production.
