Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks a Java Application Architect to design and build enterprise-grade web applications and distributed systems. The role emphasizes Java backend with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native deployment, paired with modern front-end work in React.

You will own end-to-end engineering lifecycle, working with product, DevOps, and cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver secure, scalable software across multiple business domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience building production-grade enterprise applications.
• Advanced working knowledge of Java (11/17), Spring Boot, and RESTful APIs.
• Experience designing and operating microservices architectures.
• Experience developing front-end applications using React (or similar frameworks).
• Strong SQL skills with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and Git workflows.
• Experience deploying to major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and refine scalable microservices using Java 11/17 and Spring Boot.
• Develop secure, well-tested production code with RESTful APIs and security practices.
• Develop responsive front-end apps using React and state management patterns.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Participate in architecture discussions and trade-off analyses.
• Profile and optimize performance, JVM tuning, and API throughput.
• Collaborate in Agile teams and maintain documentation.
