Job summary

EPAM Systems seeks a Key Java AI Engineer to design and deliver AI-enabled solutions using Java technologies. You will lead AI-powered features across the AI Software Development Life Cycle, from design through deployment and continuous improvement.

Work remotely from Georgia with opportunities to collaborate across global offices and cutting-edge AI projects. Candidates should have 3+ years in data engineering or backend development and strong Java/Scala skills, plus Spark and Kafka experience.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data engineering or backend development experience.
• Proven AI SDLC implementation experience.
• Proficiency in Java/Scala as primary languages with Python as secondary.
• Familiarity with Spark, Kafka, SQL and data modeling.
• Cloud experience with AWS or Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy AI-enabled solutions using Java technologies.
• Lead the implementation of business-critical AI features.
• Contribute to all phases of the AI Software Development Life Cycle.
