Job summary

Cambium is seeking an Item Writer I for the ELA Team to develop passages and test items for Reading and Literacy. This remote role requires residing in the United States and involves participating in scoring, reviews, and editing through internal processes.

You will collaborate in group reviews, independently develop passages, and handle post-committee edits. Travel 1 week to 6 weeks per year is required, typically 2–5 days per trip; a reliable internet connection is needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field with 0–3 years' experience.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify problems and conceptualize solutions.
• Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Skilled at collaboration and multi-tasking.
• Travel required: 1–6 weeks per year, typically 2–5 days per trip.
