Alignerr Corp. is seeking a native or near-native Italian transcriptionist for AI training. You will produce precise verbatim transcripts of Italian audio, handling crosstalk, background noise, and varied accents, following detailed style guides.

This is a remote, hourly contract role with flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates have excellent Italian spelling and grammar, strong listening skills, and the discipline to work independently using web-based tools.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian.
• Exceptional listening skills with attention to nuance.
• Comfortable transcribing imperfect, real-world audio.
• Highly detail-oriented with a methodical approach.
• Able to follow complex transcription style guides precisely.
• Strong written Italian with correct spelling, grammar and punctuation.
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently.
• Comfortable using web-based tools and platforms.

Responsabilités

• Listen to Italian audio and produce precise verbatim transcripts.
• Accurately capture crosstalk, overlapping speakers, filled pauses and other speech phenomena.
• Identify and distinguish multiple speakers throughout recordings.
• Handle challenging audio conditions including background noise and varying accents.
• Follow detailed transcription style guides and formatting conventions with consistency.
• Apply timestamps, speaker labels and annotation tags as required by guidelines.
• Flag unclear or inaudible segments following established protocols.
• Complete task-based assignments independently on your schedule.
