Job summary

Vettedlance is seeking a meticulous Italian transcriptionist for a remote, hourly contract in Italy. You will transcribe Italian audio/video, correct transcripts, and mark speakers and noise while noting dialect or context on request.

Requires native Italian with strong English instructions, sharp listening skills, and high accuracy on detail-heavy work. Prior transcription or subtitling experience is a plus, with a flexible, part-time schedule.

Turn spoken Italian into clean, accurate text that speech AI can learn from. You will transcribe new recordings and correct machine-made drafts so every word, speaker and pause is right.

What you will do

• Transcribe Italian audio (and video where needed) word for word using the project style guide
• Correct errors in machine-generated or earlier human transcripts
• Mark speakers, unclear passages, noise and unusable clips
• Add short notes on dialect, accent or context when asked

What you need

• Native or professional-level Italian, with good written English for instructions
• Sharp listening across accents and dialects
• High accuracy on repetitive, detail-heavy work

Contract

• Remote, hourly contract (independent contractor)
• Part-time, flexible: 10-40 hrs/week
• Remote - Italy only (required)

Pay: $11 / hour (USD). Paid weekly in USD. Typical rate $11 per hour, confirmed after a short paid assessment.
