Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Audio Transcription Specialists to convert real audio recordings into accurate written text, shaping how AI learns to listen and respond to human speech. This is a fully remote, hourly contract role with 10–40 hours per week, suitable for anyone with strong listening skills and a commitment to accuracy.

No prior transcription experience required. You'll transcribe diverse audio content, apply consistent formatting and style guidelines, and work asynchronously on your own

• Ability to follow structured guidelines and style rules.
• Comfortable working independently with clear turnaround targets.

Responsibilities

• Transcribe a variety of audio recordings into clean, accurate text.
• Handle diverse accents, speeds, and audio quality levels.
• Apply consistent formatting, punctuation, and style guidelines to all transcriptions.
• Flag unclear or inaudible segments and note speaker changes when relevant.
• Meet quality and turnaround targets for each batch of assignments.
• Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule.
