Job summary

Alignerr is seeking Italian language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems trained on Italian content. Your linguistic insight and teaching experience will shape how AI understands, generates, and teaches Italian — making a real impact on how millions of learners experience the language.

This fully remote, hourly contract offers minimum 15 hours per week, asynchronous collaboration with project leads, and the chance to influence language learning for millions of learners worldwide.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Italian.
• Experience teaching Italian or evaluating learner language.
• Strong written communication in Italian and English (C1/C2).
• Familiar with CEFR frameworks and learner speech patterns.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated Italian speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality.
• Assess learner speech and writing across CEFR levels from Pre-A1 through B2+.
• Identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps using expert judgment.
• Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic Italian.
• Provide structured feedback to improve AI tutoring and language-learning models.
• Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts.
