YO AI Labs is seeking Italian Bilingual Experts to contribute to a language and AI training project focused on improving Italian-language understanding and generation. You will evaluate Italian audio content, assess linguistic quality, and provide feedback based on guidelines.

No prior AI experience required. Strong Italian proficiency, English communication, and attention to detail are essential for success in this remote contractor role.

Qualifications

• Italian native-level proficiency in Italian (spoken and written).
• B2+ proficiency in English for written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify subtle linguistic differences.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to explain observations clearly.
• Ability to follow detailed guidelines and evaluate criteria consistently.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Listen to audio clips in Italian and evaluate nativeness, fluency, and linguistic quality.
• Assess pronunciation, intonation, accent, rhythm, and authenticity.
• Identify unnatural phrasing, pronunciation issues, and subtle language differences.
• Document assessments with clear, concise feedback in English.
• Provide detailed explanations and justifications for evaluation decisions.
• Follow established guidelines, rubrics, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify requirements.
• Provide linguistic insights to help improve AI models’ Italian language understanding.
• Complete audio review tasks accurately and within deadlines.
• Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
