Mapbox is the leading real-time location platform for a new generation of location-aware businesses. The IT team supports identity infrastructure and security across Okta, AWS, GitHub, Google Cloud, and G Suite to empower secure work from anywhere.

This role focuses on systems, endpoint management, network services, and automation in a remote-friendly setup. You will collaborate with Security and the help desk to improve reliability and reduce toil.

Qualifications

• Experience with IT tools across macOS, Windows, and Linux.
• Familiarity with Okta SAML, GitHub, Google Cloud, and G Suite.
• Knowledge of Jamf, Jira, Confluence, Slack, Zoom for IT operations.
• Ability to automate with scripting (bash, Node.js, Python).

Responsibilities

• Own secure configuration, provisioning, and lifecycle management of identity across platforms.
• Manage endpoint fleet (macOS/Windows/Linux) via MDM and enforce baselines.
• Own in-office LAN, WiFi, AV, conferencing, and computing systems remotely.
• Identify and reduce tickets through automation and self-service tooling.
• Serve as technical escalation point for unresolved issues.
• Support onboarding and full employee IT lifecycle provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Partner with Security on audit readiness (SOC 2, access reviews).
• Participate in weekly sprints and IT projects as contributor and leader.
