Children's Mercy seeks an IT Systems Applications Engineer to support development and maintenance of business applications, ensuring data integrity and SLAs. The role spans planning, development, deployment, issue management, and operational transition across multiple environments.

The candidate will work with analysts, DBAs, and vendors, handling security, data replication, and reporting needs while prioritizing stakeholder satisfaction in a compassionate pediatric hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a technical field and 3-5 years experience in application development, software engineering, application support/administration, or related experience.
• Or an Associate's Degree with 5-7 years experience in related roles.
• Or a HS diploma with 7+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist with programming, building programs and scripts for integrations, monitoring, data transmissions, reports, dashboards, workflows, and queries to support Business Applications.
• Provide troubleshooting and system support by identifying issues with application configuration, security, and data replication across environments.
• Complete tasks to upgrade, configure, test and maintain business applications with developers and analysts.
• Communicate with Vendors/Analysts/Stakeholders to gather requirements and report progress and issues.
• Build SQL jobs and processes to extract/load data into data warehouses and data marts; maintain analytics cubes.
