Job summary

ZipRecruiter, Inc. is seeking a frontline IT Helpdesk specialist to be the first contact for technical issues. You will support a 1000-person remote-first workforce with hybrid onsite requirements across our Santa Monica office and remote locations.

You will install and configure end-user devices, troubleshoot Wi‑Fi and VPN access, manage SaaS accounts, and contribute to onboarding IT sessions while collaborating with a fast-paced team and keeping stakeholders updated on incident statuses.

Qualifications

• At least one year of helpdesk or technical support experience.
• Experience with Windows and macOS.
• Familiarity with SaaS services (Google Workspace, Slack).

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for IT support requests.
• Support employees both in-person and remotely with hybrid schedule.
• Install and maintain end-user laptops and software.
• Troubleshoot network connectivity, including Wi‑Fi and VPN.
• Assist with conference room technology and printers.
• Lead onboarding IT sessions for new hires.
• Provide status updates using ticketing systems and Slack.
• Maintain inventory and coordinate with vendors.
• Support office relocations and asset disposal.
