Job summary

Sentara is seeking an IT Specialty Analyst in a fully remote role. Responsibilities include daily support and optimization of clinical software, evaluating releases, and making recommendations to improve processes and lower costs.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5+ years without, plus EPIC Resolute Professional Billing certification; Epic Claims or EPIC Charge Router certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3 years of relevant experience with a degree (Required) or 5+ years of relevant experience without a degree (Required).
• EPIC Resolute Professional Billing certification is required.
• Epic Claims certification or EPIC Charge Router certification can be considered with no professional billing certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and optimization of software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Analyze business/clinical needs and evaluate software releases to optimize processes and reduce expenses.
• Develop system test plans and perform testing of software upgrades and patches.
• Maintain records of test progress and results; manage incidents, problems and changes.
• Provide on-call support to end users and coordinate project planning around software releases.

Bachelor's degree or higher (or 5+ years experience without a degree)
