Sentara Health is hiring an IT Specialty Analyst for a fully remote role based in Virginia Beach, VA. The position supports daily operations, software optimization, upgrades, and project coordination.

Requires 3 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5+ years without a degree, plus EPIC Resolute Professional Billing certification (or related certifications) for eligibility. The base pay ranges from $80,204.80 to $133,681.60, with potential for additional compensation and shift incentives.

Qualifications

• EPIC Resolute Professional Billing certification is required.
• Epic Claims certification or EPIC Charge Router certification can be considered without professional billing certification.
• 3 years of relevant experience with a degree or 5+ years without a degree are acceptable depending on experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support and optimization of software applications, including builds, upgrades, and system enhancements.
• Analyze business/clinical needs, evaluate software releases and/or new products, and recommend optimizations to reduce expenses.
• Develop system test plans and perform testing of upgrades and patches; document test progress and results.
• Handle problem, incident, change management and on‑call support for application issues.
• Coordinate implementation or project planning around software releases and manage smaller projects or components.

Education

3 years of relevant experience with a degree (Required)

5+ years of relevant experience without a degree (Required)

Experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s Degree
