Job summary

RGP is seeking an experienced Interim IT Auditor for a remote 3+ month consulting engagement in the fintech/payments sector. The role centers on IT SOX testing, IT General Controls, and IT Application Controls, with emphasis on independent, high-quality audit work in a fast-paced financial services environment.

The consultant will perform hands-on testing, document procedures and results, evaluate control effectiveness, and support AWS-related audit activities.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT SOX testing experience
• Experience with ITGC and IT Application Controls
• Proven ability to test and document control effectiveness
• Familiarity with AWS environments and cloud controls

Responsibilities

• Perform IT SOX testing including ITGC and IT Application Controls.
• Test IT Application Controls and Key Reports.
• Prepare audit workpapers with procedures, results and evidence.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness; identify gaps.
• Support audit activities in AWS environments.
• Document findings and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Manage testing independently and meet deadlines and quality expectations.
