Seeking an Information Technology Security Manager to be a lead member of the Information Security team. This position reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer and is responsible for directing subordinate supervisors and staff in developing and delivering IT security standards and best practices.

The IT Security Manager performs two core functions:

1. Overseeing the operations of the Security Operations Center (SOC) and security analysts.
2. Supporting the Compliance team in maintaining and establishing a stronger security stance through policy, architecture, and training processes.

Secondary tasks include assisting in selecting appropriate security solutions and overseeing vulnerability audits and assessments. The IT Security Manager will interface with peers in Systems and Network departments and business unit leaders to share the corporate security vision and involve them in achieving higher enterprise security levels through information sharing and cooperation.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Overseeing deployment, integration, and initial configuration of new security solutions and enhancements to existing solutions following best practices and security policies.
• Creating and maintaining the department's security architecture design.
• Collaborating with the InfoSec Compliance team to develop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plans.
• Implementing processes for auditing and addressing security standards non-compliance.
• Supporting the security awareness training program.
• Conducting studies to ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices.
• Managing security administration for IT projects and evaluating security applications and systems.
• Recommending and implementing improvements to work methods and security measures.
• Maintaining security documentation such as policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures.

Required experience and skills include:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology.
• Systems and Network Security experience.
• At least 5 years of IT Security experience.
• Management experience of at least 2 years.
• AWS security review and assessment experience.
• Industry certifications such as CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or AWS Certified Security (must upload certifications).

Highly desired skills include:

• Technical knowledge of developing and managing information security, disaster recovery, software, and database protection.
• Leadership experience managing large, cross-functional teams and working with senior management.
• Experience or knowledge in the Motor Vehicle/Tax Industry.
