Summary

As Network Security Manager, you will lead a team of network and firewall engineers to manage security infrastructure across all of Gainwell Technologies.

Your role in our mission

• Manage the day-to-day Network Security and Firewall functions of the team.
• Direct management of a team of geographically dispersed Network Security Engineers throughout the US.
• Collaborate with peers and management to design solutions.
• Direction and leadership at an Enterprise level.
• Develops and manages external relationships with Professional Services companies to ensure that implementation services are cost effective, complete and consistent with IT Networking Security standards and practices.
• Provide standards, guidelines and directions to the Network Security team to support projects, initiatives and activities for our business partners.
• Responsible for Network Security Services: Build, monitor, and maintain Security in the Network space, Firewall rule management, HW/SW management for: Firewalls, IDS/IPS, Remote VPN, S2S tunnels
• Perform analysis of security devices and contribute to the architectural design, integration and installation to ensure effective customer Network and Security architectures.
• Assists in evaluating, testing, and documenting current network security baselines for both hardware and software to determine network/security needs.
• Assists in developing technical standards and interface applications. Evaluates new products to create and maintain optimal network security solutions. Investigates and resolves matters of significance.
• Reports and monitors system utilization and associated costs to guide short term information technology investment decisions as related to network/security solutions.
• Communicate technology into business terms with customers at all levels.
• Focus on Customer Service.

What we're looking for

• Strong knowledge of security policy and standards
• Strong remote access and site to site VPN configuration and troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of Palo Alto, Cisco, and Check Point firewalls and certification required.
• Strong IP subnetting knowledge and understanding.
• Knowledge of Cloud and virtual environments.
• Understands "bleeding-edge" technical trends and apply that to Gainwell decision making.

What you should expect in this role

This is a fully remote position with the flexibility to work from home, and we are considering candidates from all US locations.
Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation.

The pay range for this position is $95,600.00 - $136,500.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors.
