Sr. Program Manager, Safety & In Ride Experience

Who We Are

Our Safety & In Ride Experience team focuses on ensuring the safety, reliability, and efficiency of our platform. This requires seamless coordination across teams including technology, operations, and user support. We deep dive into data and conduct user research to identify opportunities, strategize and innovate based on identified opportunities, user needs, and latest technology and industry best practices. We experiment with and productize solutions that enhance efficiency and user experience, and collaborate with operations to address gaps, frictions and bottlenecks in user journeys. We ensure continuous improvement by establishing feedback loops for all user cohorts. As a Sr. Program Manager, In Ride Experience, you’ll support the business through the following responsibilities:

  • Oversee program management for key initiatives focused on improving the in ride experience for across all user segments: Riders, Caregivers, CareDrivers, and Ride Organizers
  • Develop a deep understanding of the needs of both internal and external users. Advocate for the user experience across all stakeholders to ensure solutions align with their needs.
  • Analyze data to uncover actionable insights and identify high-priority business challenges. Quantify their impact on core metrics to guide prioritization and decision-making.
  • Develop and lead initiatives that drive meaningful improvements in key business metrics. Collaborate with Data Science and Analytics teams to define data requirements, estimate potential impact, and monitor performance.
  • Understand the problems that need to be solved, identify resourcing needs and address risks, and work closely with necessary stakeholders to define and manage the most effective way to enable teams to deliver solutions
  • Collaborate closely with Product to design and launch user-centric features that enhance ride reliability and safety, strengthening our position as the platform of choice for long-term user retention.
  • Design, implement, and refine program management frameworks, processes, and success metrics to drive goal achievement
  • Define and track key program health and performance metrics, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Utilize data-driven insights to inform strategic decisions and provide high-level reporting to senior leadership
  • Provide clarity in ambiguous situations, drive effective resolution, and communicate decisions with efficiency. Leverage your expertise and contextual knowledge to help teams navigate challenges and implement solutions seamlessly

Who You Are

You’re a detail-oriented and strategic leader with a passion for operational excellence in the youth transportation space. With the following skills, you’ll make a tangible and immediate impact:

  • 5+ years of cross-functional program management experience
  • Ability to drive alignment between technical and non-technical teams in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with Product & Engineering teams on technology solutions for ride-matching, route optimization, safety features, and legal/compliance.
  • Experience working with data analytics teams to measure ride safety, efficiency, and operational effectiveness
  • Familiarity with Tableau and other BI tools for analyzing operational performance
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and use data to make key decisions
  • Excellent communication skills to engage stakeholders effectively; ability to influence without authority, ensuring cross-functional teams like Product, Engineering, and Operations work toward a common goal
  • Background in marketplace operations (supply & demand management), mobility, logistics, or last-mile transportation is highly valuable.

This position is remote and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by several factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skill set, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package for this role also includes equity stock options.
