Job summary

Lakeshore Learning Materials, LLC is seeking a Manager of IT Security to lead a team of security engineers and analysts, protecting Lakeshore across vulnerability management, incident response, and IAM. The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration to reduce risk and build a lasting security program.

The role is remote with candidates in the U.S. who can work effectively in a distributed environment, and you will partner with senior stakeholders to shape security strategy and drive

Qualifications

• 5+ years of information security experience across multiple domains such as vulnerability management, incident response, endpoint security, or IAM.
• 2+ years leading a team of security professionals including hiring, coaching, performance management and career development.
• Experience securing both on-premises and cloud environments with solid cloud networking understanding.
• Ability to communicate security risks clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience contributing to or executing security roadmaps, policies or programs in growing organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of security engineers and analysts.
• Guide day-to-day work in vulnerability management, incident detection and response, and IAM.
• Drive multi-year security initiatives and translate strategy into execution.
• Partner with leadership to develop information security policies and plans.
• Evaluate security technologies and lead implementation and continuous improvement.
