Job summary

Healthcare IT Leaders is seeking an experienced IT Security Compliance Analyst to support information security, regulatory compliance, risk assessments, and security control initiatives for a healthcare organization. This contract role is 100% remote with a start date of Oct 26, 2026 and end date of Apr 30, 2027, spanning 27 weeks.

You will assist with audits, policy development, and training programs, ensuring alignment with state and federal regulations and collaborating with technical teams

Qualifications

• Experience in IT security, information security compliance, risk management, or related field.
• Knowledge of security controls, policies, procedures, and audit methodologies.
• Experience supporting security audits, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Familiarity with information security training and awareness programs.
• Ability to gather audit evidence, evaluate control effectiveness, and collaborate with technical stakeholders.
• Understanding of state and federal information security and compliance requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Healthcare experience for HITRUST & HIPAA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Support design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable security controls, policies, and procedures to mitigate risk.
• Conduct security audits to evaluate internal controls and compliance practices.
• Assist in developing and delivering organization-wide information security training and awareness programs.
• Implement procedures to address regulatory compliance and support annual risk assessments and business impact analyses.
• Support audits by gathering evidence, using internal tools, and validating control effectiveness.
• Ensure information security program standards align with state/federal regulations.
• Serve as liaison between security compliance teams and technical SMEs.
