Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist for remote, part-time engagement. You will conduct security reviews and design secure architectures for AI-powered systems and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), perform threat modeling with a focus on data security, and help ensure compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, and the EU AI Act.

Qualifications

• At least 4–5 years of relevant IT security experience.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud security architectures and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with data protection technologies including encryption, data masking, and access management.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a dynamic SME environment.
• Professional working proficiency in English and Hungarian.

Responsibilities

• Project-Specific Security Design: Conduct security reviews and design secure architectures for data-driven and AI-powered systems, including cloud environments on AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Risk Assessment: Perform threat modeling activities with a strong focus on data security and vulnerabilities related to LLMs and AI models (e.g., OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications)
• Compliance Support: Assist projects in meeting regulatory and compliance requirements, including GDPR, ISO 27001, NIS2, and the EU AI Act
• Consulting & Stakeholder Engagement: Participate in client discussions, clarify security requirements, and ensure proper documentation of security-related decisions and controls
