Job summary

QuadMed is seeking an IT Security Analyst to join our IT team. This remote role involves supporting information security, risk management, and compliance programs with occasional travel.

You will assist with audits, risk assessments, and monitoring activities, contribute to policy development, and collaborate across departments to strengthen QuadMed's security posture while enabling efficient operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field required.
• 1 year healthcare privacy/security or audit/compliance experience.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and privacy regulations.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory data and present findings clearly.
• Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review IT controls and security effectiveness.
• Assist audits, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA projects.
• Develop risk and threat matrices and reporting.
• Coordinate third-party audits and assessments.
• Support security risk assessments for vendors.
• Collaborate with departments to implement remediation.
• Use reporting tools to detect anomalous user behavior.
• Prepare data and documentation for audits and metrics.
• Coordinate employee education and phishing training.
• Adopt improved auditing techniques to boost efficiency.
• Review system docs and security policies.
• Perform other duties to support company goals.
