Job summary

CAI is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead multiple large IT projects across shipboard systems and venues. The role requires coordinating cross-functional teams, managing budgets and timelines, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.

The position is an 18-month contract with remote work and extensive international travel. Candidates must be able to work long hours to meet milestones and deployment schedules. Sponsorship is not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Business, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience managing multiple IT projects within budgets and timelines.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices.
• Experience creating and maintaining project plans, resource schedules, risk assessments, and status reporting.
• Excellent leadership, organization, and communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects concurrently from initiation through deployment.
• Coordinate 20–40 application deployment projects across shipboard systems and venues.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and risk logs.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, and Operations teams.
• Lead project status meetings and provide updates on schedules, risks, and deliverables.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and cost savings.
• Ensure compliance with PM methodologies and company standards.
• Support deployment activities aboard cruise ships during new-build and dry dock initiatives.
