Job summary

TreCom Systems Group, Inc. seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead complex information technology initiatives. The role is full-time and can be remote or hybrid (Harrisburg, PA as needed).

Responsibilities include planning, execution, governance, and delivery across the full project lifecycle, with cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management. PMP certification and strong govt-project experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• 8 years of professional IT project management experience.
• Experience managing complex technology projects from initiation through closeout.
• Experience with government agencies, public-sector stakeholders, or government contractors.
• Experience managing system implementations, upgrades, or modernization projects.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and resources.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
• Strong stakeholder management and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initiation and planning through implementation and closeout.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, and resources.
• Manage scope, requirements, deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and changes.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, testers, vendors, and government stakeholders.
• Establish governance, reporting processes, meeting structures, and escalation procedures.
• Monitor performance against schedule, budget, scope, and quality objectives.
• Prepare status reports, dashboards, and project documentation.
• Manage system implementations, upgrades, integrations, conversions, and modernization initiatives.
• Manage vendor and contractor relationships and contracts.
• Ensure project documentation is complete and maintained throughout the lifecycle.
• Apply PMI/PMBOK, Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
