Job summary

GovCIO is recruiting for a Project Manager to support government contract work. The position is fully remote within the United States with occasional travel to client sites in Washington, DC.

You will lead cross‑functional teams, develop integrated project plans, monitor progress, and manage budgets and deliverables to ensure client satisfaction and quality outcomes. The role requires eligibility for public trust and a proactive problem-solving mindset.

Qualifications

• High School with 3–6 years experience (or commensurate)
• Must be able to acquire and maintain public trust

Responsibilities

• Creates integrated project plans for contract deliverables and new products in development projects.
• Manages a project team comprised of a multidisciplinary staff.
• Reviews, manages and controls status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
• Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
• Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with team members and line managers.
