Job summary

Protingent Staffing is seeking an IT Project Manager for a contract engagement. You will oversee end-to-end software implementations from requirements to go-live and coordinate with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors.

You will establish milestones, timelines, and implementation roadmaps, and generate project documentation such as plans, charters, risk logs, and issue logs. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of hands-on IT project management, Agile experience, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on IT project management experience.
• Experience overseeing software implementations preferred.
• Experience managing projects within the Agile methodology preferred.
• Sprint facilitation experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills desired.
• Strong communication skills desired.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the end-to-end implementation of software from requirements gathering to go-live.
• Establish project milestones, timelines, and implementation roadmaps.
• Generate project documentation including but not limited to project management plans, project charters, risk registers, and issue logs.
• Manage day to day tasks and project activities.
• Monitor project scope, budget and schedule.
• Act as the liaison between IT, business stakeholders, and vendors.
