Job summary

World Travel Holdings is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead delivery of customer-facing digital experiences in a hybrid Agile and Waterfall environment. The role combines traditional project management with Scrum Master practices to help teams plan, execute, and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.

The ideal candidate balances long-range planning with day-to-day execution, collaborating with Product Owners, UX/UI, Engineering, QA, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in technology or software delivery environments.
• 3+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master or facilitating Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile and traditional project management methodologies.
• Experience managing IT back-end and customer-facing initiatives in partnership with Franchise stakeholders and software engineering teams.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Smartsheet, SharePoint, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Highly organized with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for driving work to completion.
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of B2B Franchise applications from intake through launch.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and resource needs.
• Track progress against project goals and communicate status, risks, issues, and decisions to stakeholders and leadership.
• Facilitate cross-functional alignment and drive accountability for project commitments.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks, blockers, and dependencies.
• Maintain core delivery artifacts, including project plans, RAID logs, status reports, and decision tracking.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
• Support teams in achieving sprint commitments and delivery objectives.
• Track and report on team velocity, sprint progress, and delivery.
• Remove impediments and help teams identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Promote Agile principles while supporting WTH's hybrid delivery model.
• Support retrospective action items and continuous improvement efforts within the scrum team.
• Help teams apply Agile practices in a practical way that supports WTH’s hybrid delivery model.
• Promote ownership, accountability, transparency, and early risk identification across the team.
• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams.
• Translate business objectives into actionable delivery plans.
• Facilitate conversations, drive decisions, and resolve conflicts when priorities compete.
• Provide clear executive-level communication regarding progress, risks, and recommendations.
• Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, transparency, and collaboration.
