Job summary

Carrington Blake Recruitment is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee IT projects from planning through completion, ensuring deliverables meet timescales and stakeholder expectations.

The role requires proactive, analytical individuals who can manage project teams, resolve issues, and drive progress remotely, with occasional travel as needed. You will develop and maintain project plans, communicate updates to stakeholders, and deliver training where required.

Qualifications

• Approximately seven years of relevant professional experience in IT projects.
• At least three years of experience coordinating IT project activities and stakeholders.
• A degree in Business Admin, Statistics, or Quantitative Analysis is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, manage and maintain project plans, monitoring progress through to successful completion.
• Coordinate project activities and communicate updates, risks and milestones to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve project issues, removing obstacles and minimising delays.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, especially when requirements change or delivery challenges arise.
• Hold project team members accountable for responsibilities and deadlines.
• Lead conversations to address performance concerns and maintain momentum.
• Prepare and deliver project presentations and progress reports.
• Coordinate project handovers to management and ensure smooth transitions.
• Develop and deliver training to colleagues and management where required.
• Support organisational quality standards and undertake other duties as necessary.
• Travel when required.
