Job summary

CAI is seeking an IT Project Manager for a remote, 18-month contract to lead large IT projects across shipboard and enterprise environments. You will coordinate 20–40 deployment projects, manage schedules, budgets, and risks, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver results.

This role requires extensive international travel (5–6 months at a time) and the ability to work extended hours as milestones demand. Sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Experience managing multiple IT projects within budgets and timelines.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and methodologies.
• Experience creating and maintaining project plans, schedules, risks, and status reports.
• Excellent leadership, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and vendor relationships.
• Experience with testing, deployment, and operational readiness activities.
• Proficiency with project management tools and reporting systems.
• Willingness to travel internationally for extended periods (5–6 months).
• Able to work extended hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.
• Travel documents valid for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT projects concurrently from initiation through deployment.
• Coordinate 20–40 application deployment projects across shipboard systems.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, milestones, and risk logs.
• Partner with Product, Infrastructure, Development, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Operations teams.
• Lead project status meetings and provide schedule updates.
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with PM methodologies and company standards.
• Support team development and foster cross‑team collaboration.
• Lead hands‑on execution activities and drive deliverables to completion.
• Support deployments aboard cruise ships during new-build and dry dock initiatives.
