Job summary

OmniSolve is seeking an experienced IT agile project manager to lead deployments for a civilian government client. You will oversee multiple IT projects, driving deployment from concept through testing and go-live, with hands-on IT experience and strong communication skills.

The role emphasizes Agile, DevOps practices, application security, data integration, and change management. You will interact with client project managers and leadership daily, ensuring delivery on time and within scope.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years overseeing IT projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) with hands-on software development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related field, or 7+ years PM experience with IT systems.
• 10+ years PM experience with IT systems (no degree required)

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of IT application development from concept to deployment.
• Manage scope, planning, vendor management, budget estimation, and security compliance.
• Lead initiatives using Agile methodologies in a DevOps framework.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Track outcomes, resolve issues, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
• Prepare Quarterly Program Management Review presentations for Leadership.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, including security and data integration.
