Beacon Technologies, Inc. is seeking an IT Product Owner to connect business strategy with technology delivery across underwriting, claims, policy administration, billing, and agency operations in Wisconsin.

This role partners with business stakeholders and agile teams to shape insurance technology solutions and modernization efforts. The position offers remote or hybrid flexibility for Wisconsin-based employees with periodic on-site presence as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or related tech delivery role.
• Experience as a Product Owner in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Insurance industry experience (P&C) supporting policy administration, underwriting, claims, billing, or agency systems.

Responsabilités

• Serve as Product Owner for one or more Agile Scrum teams, maximizing product value via backlog management.
• Own and maintain the Product Backlog, ensuring transparency and alignment with business goals.
• Translate business needs into user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
• Prioritize work based on value, regulatory requirements, risk, and dependencies.
• Participate in Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives with the Scrum team.
• Review and accept completed work to meet business needs and quality expectations.
• Act as liaison between business stakeholders and the Scrum team to drive product direction.
