Job summary

BCBST BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee, Inc. seeks an IT Procurement Consultant to manage technology sourcing and contracting with cross-functional partners in IT, Legal, Security and Risk.

You will drive efficiency, implement AI-enabled improvements, and ensure compliant, cost-effective outcomes across initiatives. Responsibilities include negotiating critical agreements, coordinating renewals, and leading multi-category procurement efforts while maintaining strong stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required.
• 5 years of experience in sourcing/procurement/supply chain/contracting.
• 2 years of leadership and/or project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact for enterprise procurement activities across all categories.
• Lead negotiation and contracting of complex agreements.
• Facilitate vendor relationship activities and contract renewals.
• Drive continuous improvement for procurement related activities.
