Job summary

Vanderbilt Health seeks an IT Senior Sourcing Officer / Contract Manager to oversee IT contract lifecycle from drafting through renewal and closeout. You will partner with IT, Procurement, Legal, Finance, and Security to manage vendor risk and ensure compliant terms across HIPAA and privacy requirements.

The role supports remote work from most US locations with occasional in-person meetings at Mt. Juliet, TN. Travel expenses are the employee's responsibility.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT contracts and vendor management.
• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Experience with HIPAA, data privacy, and security considerations is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage full lifecycle of IT contracts from drafting to renewal and closeout.
• Coordinate with Legal/Procurement to translate requirements into contract terms.
• Maintain contract repositories, dates, deliverables, and audit readiness.
• Develop standard templates and playbooks aligned to policy.
• Negotiate pricing, service descriptions, payment terms, and acceptance criteria.
• Ensure contracts meet information security and regulatory requirements.
