Job summary

LMI Government Consulting is seeking a Program Operations Specialist to support USPS IT modernization programs. You will coordinate a portfolio of IT initiatives, provide executive-level insights on schedule and risk, and develop integrated roadmaps and dashboards to drive strategic decisions.

The role requires 8–10+ years of IT program management, strong communication skills, and experience with federal IT contracts.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field.
8–10+ years IT program/project management experience, PMO operations, or IT consulting.
Experience as a senior consultant or lead PMO practitioner on large-scale federal IT modernization.
Proven ability to develop and manage integrated master schedules, roadmaps, and portfolio dashboards.
Familiarity with enterprise architecture concepts (cloud/hybrid/on-prem, data architecture).
Experience with federal acquisition and IT contracting (e.g., task orders, IDIQs, CLINs).
Strong relationship-building and communication skills; executive reporting experience.
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee a portfolio of IT modernization programs and projects.
Advise program leadership on schedule, cost, risk, dependencies, and business value.
Develop master schedules and roadmaps reflecting system dependencies.
Build program-level dashboards in Power BI.
Conduct resource and capacity planning across the team.
Maintain risk, issue, and dependency registers.
Support requirements decomposition and solution planning.
Coordinate with enterprise architecture and security teams.
