Finom, a European fintech, is seeking an IT Operations Engineer to enhance the day-to-day IT experience for our growing team. You will own internal support across Windows and macOS, JumpCloud MDM, Google Workspace, and SaaS tools while ensuring SLAs and clear communication.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in IT support, service desk, or a similar user-facing technical role
• Hands-on troubleshooting of Windows and macOS: hardware, OS, applications, peripherals, and network connectivity
• Strong customer service track record: patient, empathetic, and clear with non-technical colleagues, including under time pressure
• Experience with an ITSM or ticketing tool, ideally Jira Service Management, and working to SLAs
• Working knowledge of Google Workspace or M365 user administration
• Familiarity with an MDM (JumpCloud MDM, Intune, or Jamf) and an identity provider (JumpCloud, Okta, Entra ID) for enrollment, password resets, MFA, and SSO issues
• Good written documentation habits: clear ticket notes and knowledge base articles
• Fluent English, written and spoken

Responsibilities

• Delivering Excellent Internal Support: first line of help for Finom employees through Jira Service Management and Slack; triage and resolve requests within SLA; communicate clearly; manage password resets and laptop issues
• Troubleshooting Windows and macOS Devices: diagnose and fix hardware, OS, software, and network issues remotely; handle device enrollment and compliance in JumpCloud MDM; document attempted fixes
• Supporting Identity, Access, and the Employee Lifecycle: onboarding/offboarding in JumpCloud, Google Workspace, and Torii; handle access requests and SSO issues; follow least-privilege practices
• Administering Everyday Platforms: user-level administration of Jira, Confluence, Slack, Notion; maintain JSM request types, knowledge base articles, and workflows
• Improving How We Work: spot trends in tickets; write knowledge base articles or small scripts; propose automation; support security/compliance efforts (ISO 27001, DORA, SOC 2) with proper records
