Job summary

Medtronic plc is seeking an IT Program Director to lead technology strategy across the full M&A lifecycle, including due diligence, integration or separation, and Day 1 readiness. The role requires managing multiple concurrent transactions and advising senior IT and business leaders across a global portfolio.

The position is remote within the United States and requires base in the U.S., with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and value realization across Medtronic’s transaction

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's degree; advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ years of IT leadership with 7+ years managerial experience.
• Experience leading technology due diligence, integration, or separation for acquisitions, joint ventures, strategic partnerships, carveouts, or divestitures.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT strategy and execution across multiple tuck-in acquisitions, joint ventures and divestitures.
• Develop and execute IT integration or separation plans aligned to transaction objectives.
• Drive Day 1 readiness, post-close stabilization and value realization.
• Advise Corporate Development and senior IT executives on risks and decision-making.
• Guide governance, steering committees, and cross-functional teams to ensure accountable execution.
