Job summary

TaxAudit is seeking an experienced IT & Information Security Manager to lead IT operations, cloud infrastructure, and information security, including ongoing migration to AWS. This hands-on role reports to the Director of Technology and manages a technical team across AWS, Microsoft 365/Entra ID, and security operations.

Responsibilities include risk management, incident response, and partnering with leadership to align security with business goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT infrastructure, cloud operations, and cybersecurity.
• 5+ years leading technical teams or technology functions.
• Hands-on AWS architecture, operations, and security.
• Experience with SIEM/SOC and incident response.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in CS/InfoSec.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT operations and information security functions—infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, staffing, vendors, budgets, projects, and policy.
• Own AWS migration and security governance, reporting risk and progress to leadership.
• Manage IT staffing, development, evaluation, and performance actions; build a high-performing team.
• Oversee backup, disaster recovery, patching, capacity planning, and change management.
• Partner with Software Engineering to build security into the SDLC.
