Job summary

Vermeer is seeking an IT Developer I to support low-code internal apps and AI agents that boost enterprise productivity. You will build with the Power Platform, integrate APIs, and participate in Agile ceremonies to deliver incremental value across the business.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design intelligent automation, maintain secure and compliant applications, and document workflows to share knowledge across Vermeer. Remote-friendly role supporting our global operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Development, or related field, or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant internship/work experience.
• Knowledgeable in Power Platform apps with Dataverse, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, third-party APIs and Azure services.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to clean, maintainable code.
• Familiarity with Agile software development and data modeling basics.
• Familiarity with AI agent development, NLP, ML, and enterprise integration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, configuration, and maintenance of internal apps using Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate).
• Support API and database integrations to ensure seamless data flow.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning and story pointing.
• Contribute to automated test cases to improve quality and reduce manual testing.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain AI agents using Copilot Studio and integrate with enterprise data.
• Collaborate with teams to identify opportunities for intelligent automation using conversational AI and predictive analytics.
• Ensure compliance, security, and ethical use standards; monitor performance for reliability.
• Document application logic, workflows, and support procedures for maintainability.
