Job summary

Dime Commercial Bank (Dime) is hiring a Part-Time Project Assistant for the IT Audit area to support planning, execution, and reporting of audit projects under the Director of IT Audit. The position is fully remote and part-time, with hourly wages ranging from $16 to $18.

All applicants must attach a recent resume. Candidates must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in MIS, Business Management or Administration, Computer Science, or Software Engineering, and have solid MS Word and Excel

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in MIS, Business Management or Administration, Computer Science, or Software Engineering.
• Solid experience in MS Word and Excel.
• Experience in creating flowcharts in Visio is a plus but not required.
• Working with large data sets and understanding relational databases or OO programming is a plus.
• Self-starter who can thrive in a dynamic environment.
• Able to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity to learn and grow in IT Audit.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research and analysis of business and IT systems, processes, and controls.
• Identify potential risk areas and recommend solutions.
• Assist in development of audit plans and programs.
• Communicate with audit team members and stakeholders to ensure project goals are met.
• Prepare reports and presentations communicating findings and recommendations to management.
• Extract data from multiple sources and build documents in Word or Excel.
• Generate reports, send communications, and track updates.
• Assist in IT Audit fieldwork and document templates.
