Job summary

Dime Commercial Bank is hiring an IT Staff Auditor I to join a hybrid team at either Hauppauge HQ or Grand Central. You will independently assess the Bank's technology controls, supporting the annual Internal Audit Plan across IT governance, cybersecurity, cloud, data management, and emerging tech risks.

Salary is commensurate with experience, with a range of $50,000 to $55,000 per year. The role requires collaboration with Technology, Information Security, Risk Management, and business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in CS, business or related field.
• CISA certification preferred or able to obtain certification.
• Ability to learn quickly and teach others.
• Plan, execute and evaluate audit test plans using a risk-based methodology.
• Broad banking knowledge and risk controls a plus.
• Excellent communication at all levels.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Strong organization; manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new technology and frameworks; team player.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audits, documenting key technology processes, risks and controls.
• Assist in risk assessment and adjust audit programs accordingly.
• Perform control evaluations per regulatory standards (SOX, FFIEC, NYSDFS, FRB, NIST, COBIT, etc.).
• Prepare concise audit workpapers with scope, testing, results, and conclusions.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to audit management and stakeholders.
• Assist in validating remediation efforts and tracking management action plans.
• Support external auditors and regulatory examinations as directed.
