Job summary

Coinbase is seeking an Internal Audit IT Associate Manager to lead IT and security audits across our global cloud infrastructure, security operations, and crypto-native products. You will own audits from planning through reporting and mentor junior staff.

You will partner with Engineering, Security, and IT leadership to drive control improvements while preserving independence and ensuring regulatory requirements shape the control environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of IT internal audit or related experience, with at least 1 year in people management.
• Hands-on audit experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), including IAM, encryption, logging, and network architecture.
• Familiarity with NIST CSF, COBIT, SOC 2, ITIL; certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CIA, CISM preferred.
• Ability to lead multiple audits across time zones and communicate findings to stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT and security audits across cloud infrastructure, security operations, and crypto-related products.
• Lead audit planning, fieldwork, and reporting for senior leadership and Audit Committee.
• Mentor junior team members and review workpapers.
• Drive remediation tracking and identify risk themes.
