Job summary

JST seeks an ISSO/Security Documentation Lead for a full-time remote role supporting federal security initiatives. The candidate will guide control selection early in system design and manage documentation across the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities include initiating privacy impact assessments, system of records determinations, and generating templates to ensure a complete hand-off after the engagement ends. Veterans encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• CISSP or CGRC certification meets DoD 8140 baseline; Security Plus CE is an add‑on.

Responsibilities

• Categorize the system and select security controls early to influence system design.
• Complete ports, protocols and services registration.
• Initiate privacy impact assessment and system of records determinations within first week.
• Write control implementation statements as work progresses.
• Leave behind artifact templates and a written statement of remaining work for post-engagement completion.
