Job summary
Keeper Security is looking for an Information Systems Security Officer to join our Governance, Risk and Compliance team. This is a 100% remote role from select locations, with a hybrid option for candidates in the Chicago, IL metro area.
The ISSO will manage security posture, authorizations and documentation across federal and industry requirements. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with system authorization and continuous monitoring, and strong communication with engineers, auditors
Qualifications
- 5+ years in information security or related roles.
- Experience as ISSO or similar for regulated systems.
- Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 and RMF.
- Hands-on with FedRAMP, GovRAMP, and DoD IL requirements.
- Experience creating System Security Plans and compliance artefacts.
- Ability to coordinate with engineers, auditors and gov stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee security posture and compliance readiness for assigned systems.
- Maintain system security documentation and evidence for audits.
- Coordinate authorization activities (FedRAMP High, GovRAMP High, DoD IL).
- Lead remediation and action plans with cross-functional teams.
- Support continuous monitoring, vulnerability management and incident response.
- Communicate risk, status and metrics to leadership.
