Job summary

Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an Information Systems Security Officer to join a team supporting engineering and management of communications systems. The role involves risk assessments, STIG mapping, RMF packages, and vulnerability management across large enterprises.

Candidates should have 5+ years in information assurance, ISSO experience, and a Secret clearance. Knowledge of ACAS/HBSS and eMASS is highly valued; MDE familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with information assurance or cybersecurity.
• Experience serving as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO).
• Experience managing ACAS and HBSS.
• Experience using eMASS to address controls, POA&M, and artifacts.
• Experience supporting system security and authorization processes.
• Experience reviewing vulnerability documentation and residual risk statements.
• Experience reporting IT security events or incidents.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint (MDE).
• Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering, sustainment, and management of communications systems.
• Perform risk assessments of systems and equipment.
• Create and map STIGs; develop POA&M; RMF packages.
• Perform vulnerability management and upload artifacts in eMASS.
• Brief security posture to client leadership and prepare summaries.
• Implement security controls and improve event detection and correlation.
